The Tripp Lite B126-1A1-POC HDMI over Cat5 Active Extender Kit includes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit that work in tandem to extend an HDMI audio/video signal to a projector, monitor or television up to 125 feet away. The kit is ideal for digital signs, trade shows, presentations, classrooms, churches, retail settings and other applications where the video source is located farther than conventional cables allow. Built-in Power over Cable (POC) technology powers the receiver over Cat5e/6/6a cable, so no external power supply on the display side is needed.

In addition to crystal-clear video, the B126-1A1-POC delivers full, rich stereo and 7.1-channel surround sound (multi-channel or PCM). Built-in equalization control lets you fine-tune the image quality at the remote display. This kit also supports 24-bit True Color (8 bits per channel) and HDCP.
HDMI cable (see Tripp Lite’s P569-Series) connects an optional local display and the audio/video source, such as a Blu-ray player, to the transmitter’s HDMI ports and a remote display to the receiver. Cat5e/6/6a cable connects the two units (for best results, use 24 AWG solid-wire Cat5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-Series). The plug-and-play design means no software or drivers to download and install. Hardware is included for mounting the units on a wall, rack or pole.
